Hi, I'm Lisa!
I am a French illustrator with a minimalist style.
Why Lotza? I wanted a stage name, without using my real name. Lotza is a Basque name, a region I love in the southwest of France. So I looked through the list of Basque first names and fell for Lotza.
I graduated as an artistic director in 2019 from ECV. After my first year, I chose to follow the Design training with a web option (code and animation) for 4 years.
Alongside my studies, I completed several internships, including one with an illustrator in Saint-Jean de Luz, in the Basque Country. During this internship, I experimented with different illustration styles. I ended up choosing this minimalist style while retaining the details that still seem important to a design.
Later, I started illustrating France as well as other collections like sports, cocktails, women, etc.

Karine, my mom
Behind the candles, there is Karine – my mother, but also my everyday partner, at the Cognac boutique.
It's not just a family story, it's an adventure shared by two voices, a precious bond that is reflected in every detail of our world. Together, we form a complementary mother-daughter duo , united by the same desire: to please, to bring a smile... and to brighten the daily lives of those who walk through the door of our boutique.
With passion and patience, she imagines and makes each of our candles. They are hand-poured, made from vegetable wax and delicately scented with scents from Grasse , the world capital of perfume.
Selecting materials, combining scents, imagining atmospheres... she does all this with her heart, so that you feel something sincere as soon as you hold one of her candles in your hands.
Karine is my mother, but she is also a creative, generous and inspiring woman , who transforms our shared ideas into objects. And it is a daily joy to work alongside her.

Iris or "Riri"
Iris is a 12-year-old Shar Pei. Slightly wrinkled (because I ironed it a lot), she manages the Cognac boutique. She will be able to advise you on the illustrations based on the size of your interior and will select the best color suggestions to match the colors of the illustrations to those of your interior.
A true mascot of Rue d'Angoulême in Cognac, she'll be your tour guide for a few croquettes. She knows every little corner of the city and can recommend the best restaurants and cafes.
Iris is at the Lotza boutique with her mistress Karine at 21 rue d'Angoulême in Cognac (16100) from Tuesday to Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Yes, Riri is having some pretty busy days.
His guilty pleasure? The cookies that customers give him at the cafe across the street.

Siska
Siska is the latest arrival. A 4-year-old Belgian Malinois, she's full of life. A little too much sometimes, it's exhausting. Siska is Riri's little intern. She will be able to suggest illustrations or decorative objects according to your tastes and will find solutions to satisfy your requests. Unfortunately, she has to put up with prejudices about her breed. But don't be fooled, Siska is a ball of love who loves to be petted by customers. Siska knows La Rochelle very well, she will be happy to guide you; you just need to have some kibble with you.
Siska works with her mistress (who claims to be the illustrator) from 9:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the La Rochelle boutique at 37 rue Saint-Yon (17) from Tuesday to Saturday. And yes, what a dog's life!
His guilty pleasure? Playing with sticks, all the time, everywhere.
