Immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of the American West Coast with this original poster by Lotza, featuring the city of Seattle and its iconic landmark: the Space Needle. Carefully created on Illustrator and hand-printed in Charente, this artwork captures the avant-garde spirit and urban elegance of this iconic Washington State metropolis.

Seattle is a city that embodies both technological innovation and a culture deeply rooted in the history of the Pacific Northwest. Nestled between the waters of Puget Sound and the Cascade Mountains, it offers a spectacular setting blending nature and modernity. Its skyline is dominated by the famous Space Needle, a key figure in its visual identity.

Built for the 1962 World's Fair, the Space Needle is a masterpiece of futuristic architecture. Standing 184 meters tall, this iconic tower was designed by architect John Graham Jr. in a style inspired by the space age and dreams of interstellar exploration. Its appearance, like a flying saucer perched on a slender tripod, quickly made it a symbol of progress and modernity, attracting millions of visitors each year.

In this illustration by Lotza, the Space Needle stands out elegantly against a vibrant sky of warm and cool hues, evoking both urban sunrises and the city's characteristic twilight atmosphere. The graphic composition highlights Seattle's signature contrasts: bold architecture, a subdued urban atmosphere, and a constant proximity to the surrounding nature.

Every detail of the poster is carefully crafted: the sharp contours of the Space Needle, the subtle reflections in the surrounding buildings, and the color gradients that evoke the richness of the region's lighting. This work, exquisitely printed in Charente, is as much a celebration of architectural heritage as it is a visual tribute to Seattle's creative and cosmopolitan spirit.

Ideal for those passionate about travel, architecture and iconic cities around the world, this poster stands out as a strong decorative piece, capable of evoking the avant-garde and inspiring character of the Emerald City on its own.

Hi, I'm Lotza.

The illustrator

Hi, I'm Lisa and I illustrate all the posters you can find in this online store.

I draw the posters on Illustrator using a pen, a vector drawing tool.
My illustrations are not transformed photos, called "vectorized" in the jargon. I choose my destinations myself; I am currently working on my Tour de France.

To create an illustration, I often use photos from my travels or royalty-free photos for commercial use in order to remain faithful to reality and I take the liberty of modifying the design and layout.

I also base my work on my drawings, which I scan and redraw on Illustrator; this is especially the case for my portraits of women.
