Description

Want to take your mind off things? Come and enjoy oysters on the Arcachon Bay with a breathtaking view of the Dune of Pilat . This original work by Lotza will take you on a journey with its bright, marine colors.
Arcachon Bay is a lagoon located on the French Atlantic coast, in the Gironde department in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region. It is known for its diverse natural landscapes, picturesque oyster-farming villages, sandy beaches, dunes, and pine forests.

The basin is fed by the Atlantic Ocean, but also by several rivers, including the Leyre and the Dordogne. It is home to a rich and varied fauna and flora, including migratory birds, fish, crustaceans, and shellfish. The main tourist activities in the Arcachon Basin are swimming, water sports, fishing, boat trips, tasting fresh oysters in oyster shacks, as well as exploring traditional villages such as Arcachon, La Teste-de-Buch, Andernos-les-Bains, and Le Canon.

Arcachon Bay oysters are renowned for their quality and unique flavor. They are produced in the Arcachon Bay, a coastal region located in southwest France. The bay is an ideal location for oyster farming because it has a favorable microclimate, nutrient-rich water, and a shoreline conducive to oyster growth. There are two main types of oysters produced in the Arcachon Bay: flat oysters and cupped oysters. Flat oysters are larger and flatter than cupped oysters, with thick shells and firm flesh. Cupped oysters are smaller and rounder, with thin shells and more tender flesh. Arcachon Bay oysters are harvested by hand by oyster farmers. They are then sorted, washed, and packaged for sale. Oysters from the Arcachon Basin are considered one of the best oysters in France and around the world, highly prized for their delicate flavor and fine texture.

Hi, I'm Lotza.

The illustrator

Hi, I'm Lisa and I illustrate all the posters you can find in this online store.

I draw the posters on Illustrator using a pen, a vector drawing tool.
My illustrations are not transformed photos, called "vectorized" in the jargon. I choose my destinations myself; I am currently working on my Tour de France.

To create an illustration, I often use photos from my travels or royalty-free photos for commercial use in order to remain faithful to reality and I take the liberty of modifying the design and layout.

I also base my work on my drawings, which I scan and redraw on Illustrator; this is especially the case for my portraits of women.
